COORDINATION
Joaquin de la Concha Gonzalez, director of To the core of things, is a monitoring, evaluation, researcher and programme manager of Worldwide multimillion regional programmes and projects specialised in human rights, media, gender, community tourism and children/youth.
Passionate about Freedom of expression and human rights and very much involved in grass root movements, Joaquin brings into his works a strong understanding of community based initiatives and methodologies and tools from the crafts related to evaluation, knowledge management and information fields (freedom of expression, media literacy, media pluralism). In all these fields, Joaquin has developed through the umbrella of To the core of things a set of methodological tools that include organisational capacity assessments, modular reconstruction and adaptation of theories of change, stakeholder network maps, case study guidelines and approaches, outcome harvesting through Most Significant Change stories and participatory processes for identifying and selecting lessons learned and good practices.
